Ok this is my new favorite TV show. Vampires, serious discussion of racism, sex, violence, did I say vampires. I just like that it is so smart. You aren't just focused on the vampires, there is a ton of characterization.

This show has me completely addicted. I watched all 7 episodes on on demand in a matter of two days in my spare time.

Yummy, vampire human sex, I want that so badly. Bite me while you are doing me... yes!!!

Andrea and I are doing Once Upon a Mattress for our theatre, we are in desperate need for any renaissance gear. We need both men and womens clothing. We also need jousting equipment as well, swords, shields, maces anything to stuff in the mattresses.

The show runs for 3 weekends in October and we will take very good care of the stuff. If anyone could help out it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a bunch

Subject:ahzmah!!!
Security:Public
Mood: hopeful

I cannot write this in the original Hebrew but pheonetically it is said Ahzmah. Loosely translated it means : So What?

This is my new life motto. A good friend of ours Jordan has been going through some changes lately. His world has been turned upside. He was a person who expended a lot of energy worrying about life and the things going on around him. He has always been an incredibly funny person and someone who seemed ok, but inside he was always in turmoil. He began working for a Jewish school recently (he is agnostic) and had to go to Israel with some of his students. While he was there he learned this phrase, Ahzmah. He carried it home with him and had adapted it to his life.

He calls it his theory of life according to battle triage. In battle triage, if you are a medic in a battle, at each wounded person you come across you must make a decision. If you come up to a person who is going to die no matter what you do to help, you move on. You do not waste any resources on this person. If you come up to a person who is going to live no matter what you do, you move on, you do not waste resources on that person either. If you come to someone who will live only if you help them, then that is the person you expend resources on.

So how does this apply to life, don't stress about the things you cannot do anything about or do not need to do anything about. Only stress about the things you can fix.

For me this means, things like, my mother is very ill mentally. I can't do anything about that, I have no control over it. Stressing about it wastes my resources. Ahzmah? This doesn't mean I shouldn't care for her or care about her, but why stress how does it serve me.

My friends are my friends, the ones that really love me, really love me. I don't need to worry about that. Ahzmah? Why would I stress about that?

Now, physically I am not happy with my body, it is hurting my self confidence, this is something I have control over. So no Ahzmah there, this is what I focus my resources on.

It's similar to the serenity prayer... God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

But in one word. Ahzmah!!

Thank you Jordan

Mood:drama starting!!!

This song is sooooo great!! And it explains exactly why I unfriended a bunch of people....

do-bi-do-do-bi-do
do-bi-do-do-bi-do
do-bi-do-do-bi-do
do-bi-do-do-bi-do

And that's the problem, dear, with angry people, they
Try to go it alone
Digging in and making cranky feeble pleas that
Other angries disown
So angry people think the best solution is
Getting others involved
So they surround themselves with happy people
And watch their smiles dissolve

'Cause we just drag them down [down]
We just drag them down [down]
We just drag them down [down]
Until they're just like us.

[whistling]

So angry people get so sanctimonious
Telling us what to do
Hoping no one outs 'em all as phonies just 'cause
We are all phonies too
Those of us who once had wives and families
Can understand what I mean
What was once a calm and peaceful refuge is
Overtaken by spleen

'Cause we just drag them down [down]
We just drag them down [down]
We just drag them down [down]
Until they're just like us.

Singer in the band
We're only trying to lend a hand
And though it's not what we had planned
We understand
That we just drag them down
We just drag them down
We just drag them down
Until they're just like us.

do-bi-do-do-bi-do
do-bi-do-do-bi-do
do-bi-do-do-do-doop-boop-bi-do-bi-do
do-bi-do-do-bi-do

In a square, a thousand angry people are
Waving signs in the air
While a million other happy people are
Trying hard not to care
You see the happy people's biggest problem is
Never fearing the worst
While the rest of us will never sleep until their
Happy bubbles have burst

'Cause we just drag them down
Didn't I just drag you down
Oh watch me, watch me drag you down
Until you're just like us
Until you're just like us
Oh, until you're just like us
Until you're just like us

do-bi-do-do-bi-do
do-bi-do-do-bi-do
do-bi-do-do-bi-do
do-bi-do-do-bi-do
do-bi-do-do-bi-do
do-bi-do-do-bi-do
do-bi-do-do-do-doop-boop-bi-do-bi-do

So, I have gone through my friends list and removed a bunch a people. This was not done to create drama it was done because I have been considering this for a while and in light of some actions that have taken place recently I've needed to reevaluate who I feel comfortable sharing my personal stuff with.

If you are one of the individuals that I unfriended, please email me if you want to know why. witcheypoojr@gmail.com If you do not that is fine too. I am not doing this as a statement, just because I feel a need to.
Please do not gossip and guess as to my motives. I promise I will tell you the truth if you email me.

Many of the people who call themselves my friends, believe that I am an irrational angry person. If you know me, then you know better and you know that I will talk to you about my issues in a rational, calm manner.

Now back to your regularly scheduled drama.

EDIT
I've decided to not allow comments so that if you want to speak to me about it it has to be in email that way no one else has to read the drama.

Subject:Ed finally reveals the truth about his affair

Mood: excited
Music:BNL of course!!!

So as andrea has already said, last night was the BNL concert in cleveland. We had the best time ever. We met Ed, and Jim. I got Ed's guitar pick. The music was incredible, our seats were incredible and it was worth every penny and every second of car ride. This will be a night I will remember for a long time. So here is how it all played out. We set off for Cleveland at 4. Stopped in cranberry on the way so I could get out money. I picked up a disposable camera while I was there. I AM SO GLAD I DID THIS!!!. We headed out, the trip was easy only one wrong turn, totally the directions fault but it was no biggie because it was in Cleveland so we recovered easily. We parked got 4 dollar parking a block away (bonus!!) then went to Subway for dinner. After dinner we went to the theater. Got into the theater bought our shirts and found our seats. 4 to 5 rows back. Too far to throw underwear so we never did that, but close enough to see just how hot Ed was. We got up to go to the bathroom and when we were going back to our seat we saw a small crowd of people in our isle. And standing there signing autographs was Ed Robertson. We just about peed ourselves(even though we just went to the bathroom). Two people that we know who moved to Ohio were standing in line with us (I can't remember their names but Andrea will, was it Erin and Lindsey). So we get up to Ed. Andrea is shaking with excitement and I introduce myself and say we are from pittsbugh, we tell him how much we love him and the band then I blurt out to Andrea. "Theresa is going to be so jealous". He asks about Theresa and Andrea tells him that she claims he is her boyfriend. He responds with "Theresa from Cleveland?" I say "No". He say "Oh ok, I was going to say that I don't have a girlfriend named Theresa from Cleveland but I do have a girlfriend named Theresa from Pittsburgh". I started cracking up and thanked him for making us miserable for the rest of our lives because of her gloating. We got our picture and then saw that Jim Creegan was on the other side of the theater. We got a picture with him then found out that Steve was in the lobby. This theater is very much like the Benedum and he was absolutely swarmed in the lobby so we couldn't get to him for pictures but we got some good shots of him. The concert began with a band called the Leevee's. They were good and we bought thier CD and got it autographed. Then Cleveland's singing Angels (a childrens choir) came out and sang some x mas songs then BNL came out and sang with them. It was really cool. Then they started rocking the place. The concert was amazing. I can't remember the play list but it was long, good mix of songs from their christmas album and from their hits. There was a great moment when they had Tyler (the drummer) sing and they pulled names out of a hat to decide what instrument the other band members played. Ed was on the drums, kevin on the base, jim on the keyboard and Steve on guitar while Tyler, very poorly sang Feliz Navidad. It was hilarious. Later on Ed threw his pick into the audience. I landed right next to me on the floor and I grabbed it. We went outside after the concert and waited for about an hour and a half to see if they would come out to their tour bus. We got to cold and tired considering I had to be at work this morning so we went home. I dropped the pictures off this morning to be processed. I should have them by the end of the day. I will post them tonight. I had such an incredible time. Thank you so much to andrea for making me do this. I love you!!! Robyn
